It is absolutely essential that guests make contact with Sid about a week before they arrive, irrespective of whether we are doing the transfers. Likewise we advise guests to ring Sid a couple of days before and talk to him and make an arrangement about where to meet (normally the petrol station in Yesiloz Village). Guests who are driving on their own normally text Sid when they collect their hired car and again when they get to Alanya. This helps to make sure that somebody can meet you at the villa. Guests are sometimes delayed and if you have a phone number you can let us know about any last minute delays. Alanya, where our Villas are located is about 1 hour from Antalya Airport. We are situated just on the edge of Alanya. The Airport Transfer to Alanya normally takes about 1 to 1½ hours depending on the traffic. Arrival at the Villa. It will be easier when you arrive if you bring a photocopy of each guests passport as well as a list of all the guests including their passport numbers. If you arrive without photocopies of passports then you can given them to us and a photocopy will be made. We also ask guest to sign a copy of the Booking Conditions on arrival. On arrival you will be met at the Villa, guests are can book a Welcome Hamper (charges apply) with tea, Milk, soft drinks (in the fridge) and some light snacks. Usually most guests arrive at night or very early in the morning, and when this is the case, and guests prefer, we try to ensure guests can go to bed as soon as they can. Each guest Group is given a folder on arrival with lots if information about their villa as well as whose who and what do type information. First Day at the Villa. Guests normally come to the restaurant at 10.00am on their first morning and have breakfast. Sid normally gives a short talk, answers questions and sorts out care hire, trips and shopping ect. When guests leave after breakfast somebody will normally go back to the villa with them, and show them everything: How DVD's, Washing Machine, Satellite, pool lights etc. Experience has taught us that by Tuesday almost all guests are happy, relaxed and settled in, but will often have questions or need help and advice. We give guests a questionnaire to make sure everything is OK and follow up and problems. We try not to be intrusive, and respect out guests privacy, but at the same time we want our guests to enjoy their holiday to the full. Seljuk Ocal: better known as Sid. He is "In Charge" in Turkey and his is the mobile you should ring, because even if he is not available, whoever is, will have the mobile. He will be available most of the season, his English is near perfect, and UK based normally, but for this season he will be at the Villas. His mobile is 00 90 (0) 530 2084 642. He will be staying at the Restaurant. When he is there he will be the best one to talk to. When he is not there, whoever is in charge will have his mobile. Attilla Ocal: He is my father in Law. His English is limited but he usually does the transfers and is very helpful. He looks after the pool and we get more letter of compliment about him for his helpfulness than everybody else except Nesrin. He lives next door to the Yesiloz Villa. His wife is Saliha and she is very helpful. She speaks better English than Attilla, but Attilla is the "Boss" Nesrin Durmaz: She is my sister in Law. She lives usually at the Nesrin Villa. Her English is limited too but she has a heart of gold, she is a great cook and will go the extra mile to help out. She looks after the Villas. Her husband is Okan and her daughter is Simgay.
